How Organoclay Prevents Settling

Organophilic clay (organoclay) forms a three-dimensional gel network within solvent-based and oil-based systems. This network physically suspends heavy particles -- pigments, fillers, refractory powders -- preventing them from settling to the bottom during storage or application.

Unlike simple thickeners, CAMP-SHINNING's organoclay anti-settling agents provide thixotropic behavior: the gel breaks under shear (allowing easy mixing and application) and reforms at rest (preventing sedimentation). This dual action makes them indispensable across demanding industrial formulations.
