Application Process Step-by-Step Implementation Guide
Follow our proven application procedure to achieve optimal performance with organoclay in grease formulations.
Heat Base Oil
Heat the base oil to 60-70°C if conditions permit. This optimal temperature enhances dispersion efficiency.
Add Organoclay
Add organoclay while stirring at 7-10% of total formulation weight. Continue stirring for 5-10 minutes.
Add Polar Activator
Add polar activator (acetone/water 95/5) at 2-3% of total formulation, then add other additives.
Extended Mixing
Continue stirring for 25-30 minutes to ensure complete dispersion and activation of the organoclay.
Homogenization
Use pump assistance for colloid grinding and homogenizer processing to achieve uniform consistency.
Final Processing
Deair, filtrate, and pack the final product. Quality control testing should be performed at this stage.
