Grease Formulations
Dosage & Activator
- • Organoclay: 7-10% of total formulation
- • Polar Activator: Acetone/Water (95/5)
- • Activator Dosage: 20-30% of organoclay weight
- • Final Addition: 2-3% of total formulation
Application Procedure
- Heat base oil to 60-70°C if possible
- Add organoclay while stirring (5-10 minutes)
- Add polar activator and other additives
- Stir for 25-30 minutes with high shear
- Process through colloid mill and homogenizer
- Deair, filtrate, and pack
