CP-21 Organoclay for Grease

CP-21 is a next-generation organoclay rheological additive derived from bentonite. It is specifically formulated for use in solvent and resin systems, covering the low to medium polarity range. CP-21 offers exceptional dispensability compared to conventional grades, making it an ideal replacement for CP-20 in aliphatic systems. Its superior dispersibility is especially advantageous in applications where easy and efficient incorporation is required.

CP-21 is a new style of organoclay rheological additive made from bentonite. It is used in solvent and resin systems covering low polarity to medium polarity range. It demonstrates excellent dispensability compared with conventional grades. It is a good replacement of CP-20 in aliphatic systems, especially in applications where the super dispensability attribute should be utilized as advantage.

Using of CP-21 Organoclay for Grease

It is a super dispersible grade that can increase flexibility in paint manufacturing. It can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. Addition level is commonly 0.1%~1.0% (7%-10% in greases) of total formulation by weight. Polar activator can be eliminated, but small dosage of polar activator is helpful to achieve better performance.

When non-aliphatic solvent presents, the effectiveness of CP-21 should be evaluated.

Storage

CP-21 has a shelf life of 2 years, and should be stored in ventilated cool and dry place.
