CP-27 is an organo clay (modified montmorillonite), designed especially for use in solvent based system. It is especially recommended to be used in high polarity resins such as epoxy, and high alcohol percentage solvent systems.

Application of CP-27 Organo clay for Cosmetics
CP-27A is used in the following applications:
Cosmetics
Sealant
Grease,
Lubricant
In solvent based paint. It is mainly suggested to be used in industrial paint such as marine paint, container paint, anti-corrosion paint and anticorrosive paint.
Using
CP-27A can be added directly in powder without polar activator and making pre-gel. But better performance may achieved if polar activator is added and pre-gel procedure is affected.
The addition is recommended to be before grinding procedure to get the best effectiveness. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~1.0%.

Storage
CP-27A has a shelf life of 2 years, and should be stored in ventilated cool and dry place.
