CP-40 Organoclay for Grease Lubricating

CP-40 is a modified bentonite organoclay specifically developed for use in solvent-based systems. It is effective across a wide range of solvents, from low polarity to medium-high polarity, offering superior thickening and rheological control. CP-40 delivers enhanced stability and improved suspension properties, making it an ideal choice for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.

Modified Bentone CP-40 Store in a dry, well-ventilated area with temperature of 0℃-30℃.  Keep container closed. The quality guarantee period is 24 months.

 Organic Bentonite Powder Using

CP-40 disperses under high shear and requires a polar activator for best efficiency. Heat is not required to obtain good dispersion. Addition levels are typically in 0.2%~2.0%. Polar activator (95% Ethanol or 95% Methanol) is needed. Normally addition level of polar activator is recommended to be 45%~60% of CP-40 in weight. If in xylene system, addition level of polar activator is about 30%-40% of CP-40 in weight.

Pre-gel is made as below procedure.

  1. Charge solvent to mill
  2. Slowly add CP-40 (6-10% by weight of total pre-gel) to mill under agitation.
  3. Mix at high speed for 5 minutes.
  4. Add polar activator.
  5. Mix at high speed for 5 minutes.

The package:  Kraft bag or kraft complex interior with PE or customized

Packing size:  25kg/bag ,50lb/bag, 600kg/bag or customized.

15MT/20FCL with pallet, 18MT/20FCL without pallet,  25.2MT/40FCL with pallet.

The delivery date is 7 to 10 days after receiving deposit.
