Usage Instructions
Proper application procedures for optimal performance in grease formulations
Grease Application Process
Heat base oil to 60-70°C if conditions permit
Add organic clay powder (7-10% of total formulation) while stirring for 5-10 minutes
Add polar activator (2-3% of total formulation), then add other additives. Stir for 25-30 minutes
Use pump to pass through colloid grinding and homogenizer
Deair, filtrate, and pack the final product
Key Requirements
- Polar activator: acetone/water (95/5)
- Activator dosage: 20-30% of organoclay weight
- High shear promotes better dispersion
Key Benefits
High Efficiency
Light color gel with high clarity and consistent rheology development
Easy to Use
No need to pregel, eliminates polar activator in some applications
