Processing Guidelines
Heat Base Oil
Heat base oil to 60-70°C if conditions permit for optimal dispersion.
Add Organoclay
Add organoclay while stirring (7-10% of total formulation). Stir for 5-10 minutes.
Add Polar Activator
Add acetone/water (95/5) activator (2-3% of formulation), then other additives. Stir 25-30 minutes.
Homogenize & Process
Use pump through colloid grinding and homogenizer. Deair, filtrate, and pack.
