General Application Procedure
Pre-heating (Optional)
Heat base system to 60-70°C for enhanced dispersion efficiency.
Organoclay Addition
Add organoclay while stirring at recommended dosage (typically 1-3% by weight). Stir for 5-10 minutes.
Polar Activator
Add polar activator (acetone/water 95/5) at 20-30% of organoclay weight for optimal activation.
High-Shear Mixing
Apply high-shear mixing for 25-30 minutes to achieve complete dispersion and activation.
Final Processing
Pass through colloid mill or homogenizer if required. Deair, filter, and package.
Grease Formulation Procedure
Base Oil Heating
Heat base oil to 60-70°C for optimal viscosity and mixing conditions.
Organoclay Dosage
Add 7-10% organoclay by total formulation weight while maintaining agitation. Mix for 5-10 minutes.
Activator Addition
Add 2-3% polar activator by total formulation weight. Continue mixing for optimal gel development.
Additive Incorporation
Add other additives and mix for 25-30 minutes for complete homogenization.
Final Processing
Process through colloid grinding and homogenizer. Deair, filter, and package final product.
