Usage Guidelines
Proper application procedures and dosage recommendations for optimal performance of our rheological modifiers.
Application Procedure
Pre-heat Base Material
Heat base oil/solvent to 60-70°C if conditions permit for better dispersion.
Add Organoclay
Add organoclay while stirring. Typical dosage: 2-10% of total formulation. Stir for 5-10 minutes.
Add Polar Activator
Add polar activator (acetone/water 95/5) at 20-30% of organoclay weight for enhanced performance.
High Shear Mixing
Use high-speed dispersant or grinding machine for 25-30 minutes to achieve optimal gel formation.
Final Processing
Deair, filtrate, and package. Quality check for viscosity and rheological properties.
