Application Process Step-by-Step Implementation Guide

Follow our proven application process to achieve optimal performance and consistency in your grease formulations using organoclay thickeners.

Heat Base Oil

If conditions permit, heat the base oil to 60-70°C to optimize dispersion and activation of the organoclay thickener.

Add Organoclay

Add organoclay while stirring continuously. The typical addition level is 7-10% of the total formulation weight. Stir for 5-10 minutes to ensure proper distribution.

Add Polar Activator

Add polar activator (acetone/water 95/5 ratio) at 2-3% of total formulation. Then add other additives and stir for 25-30 minutes for complete activation.

Use pump assistance to pass the mixture through colloid grinding and homogenizer for optimal particle size distribution and consistency.
